There is a desperate search to find a forever home for a 6-year-old pit bull-terrier mix after his owner was brutally killed last year.

Linus has been owned by Rider Ferreras, and after his death, he was cared for by Rider's mother. 

Rider's mother says she can no longer take care of the dog. 

The animal rights advocacy group, Ruthless Pawz, has been working with Linus’s family to find him a new home so he does not end up in a shelter where he could be euthanized.
