Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury odds: ‘Problem Child’ sinks to betting underdog against ‘TNT’

Oddsmakers seem to think Jake Paul has a small problem in Tommy Fury, betting lines show.

As Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury inches closer to reality, oddsmakers weigh in on who has the advantage in their upcoming boxing match.

Paul vs. Fury is expected to take place later this year, according to Fury’s boxing promoter Frank Warren. Ahead of the expected showdown, Bet Online released their initial odds for Paul (4-0) vs. Fury (9-0). Oddsmakers have Paul as a slight underdog against his more experienced foe.

Take a look below:

Jake Paul (+120) (6/5)
Tommy Fury (-150) (2/3)

“At the moment we’re working through the terms, we’re quite close and I’m hoping we can get it over the line,” Warren said earlier this week, per Manchester Evening News. “It’s a great fight for Tommy. It’s a very lucrative fight for him. Financially how can you not turn that down?

“I think he wins it,” Warren continued. “It’s captured everyone’s imagination, it’s all they were talking about out in the States. Hopefully, we will finish it off this week and we can move forward. It’ll be in late November, December.”

Warren told Sky Sports in a separate interview, “We’re sorting contracts out at the moment.”

Paul and Fury are both coming off wins at Showtime Boxing’s pay-per-view (PPV) event on Aug. 29. Paul defeated former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight titleholder Tyron Woodley (watch highlights) by split decision, while Fury beat Anthony Taylor via unanimous decision.
