Welcome to the first weekend of fall. With highs expected to climb into the 90s inland, it will still feel like summer. Mid 80s will be common from Oakland to 90 in Redwood City and San Jose today, while fog clears the coast allowing afternoon highs to reach into the 70s.

These afternoon highs will be about 5 to 10 degrees above normal. The warmth tries to hold on until Monday, but low clouds and breezy winds will initiate a cool down into the final week of September.
