The series follows Drew, a therapist who recently filed for divorce and is faced with the task of finding a kidney donor. He meets Gina, a “rough-around-the-edges woman from his past” who knows about Drew’s situation and offers him her kidney, according to CBS’ description. They grew progressively closer in Season 1.
The cast stars Thomas Middleditch as Drew; Annaleigh Ashford as Gina; Kether Donohue as Gabby; Sara Rue as Julia; Terrence Terrell as Eli; and Izzy G as Maddie.
