Manchester United’s stance on Axel Tuanzebe’s loan move to Aston Villa has been revealed after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was hit with a double injury blow.

Raphael Varane, who has made five Premier League appearances for United since signing for the club from Real Madrid, has sustained an injury playing for France and will miss the next couple of weeks.

Harry Maguire has been unavailable since September 25, when he sustained an injury in the 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa. The Manchester United captain is rarely on the sidelines and despite a positive update, he is unlikely to be fit when United play their first game after the international break.
