After another run-in with the law, Jon Bones Jones has been suspended from Albuquerque’s Jackson-Wink Mixed Martial Arts Academy. “Jon Jones has been temporarily suspended from training with the Jackson Wink Academy Team," the gym’s spokesperson told KOAT.The suspension comes after the former UFC light heavyweight champion was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, on domestic violence charges. His arrest happened just hours after he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. In March of 2020, Bones was arrested on DWI and firearm charges. In 2019, he was arrested on battery charges in connection with the assault of a waitress. Jackson-Wink co-owner and co-head coach Mike Winkeljohn told the Albuquerque Journal that the charges in Jones' most recent arrest were too disturbing to overlook. “I have a wife, three daughters, a mom,” Winkeljohn told The Journal. “I teach women’s self-defense,” Winkeljohn said. “It just makes it hard when (Jones) keeps getting in trouble.”Related video: Jon Bones Jones arrested in Las Vegas
