Sungjae Im juuust misses a 250-yard hole-in-one, remains on quite the Vegas heater

Sungjae Im said he didn't have any plans to hit up a casino following Sunday's win at the Shriners Children's Open. That doesn't mean he still isn't on quite the Vegas heater, though.

After running away in the desert for his second career victory thanks to a final-round 62, Im is off to another nice start in Sin City. And the 23-year-old came within inches of pulling off what would have been one of the longest holes-in-one in PGA Tour history.

The par-3 11th hole at The Summit Club is playing to 251 yards during Thursday's opening round of the CJ Cup. Not surprisingly, it's currently playing as the most difficult hole on the course. It just wasn't difficult for Im.

Check out this absolute laser iron shot that found the middle of the green before rolling out to within a foot of the cup for a tap-in birdie to move to three under on the round:

Yeah, he's pretty locked in right now.

Of course, he and everyone else are looking up at the also red-hot Robert Streb right now. But as we saw last week, Sunday Sungjae still has plenty of time.
