ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Three playoff appearances in three years likely weren’t good enough for the Saint Louis Cardinals.
The Cardinals Thursday said they have parted ways with manager Mike Schildt.
Cardinals president of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak cited “philosophical differences.”
Shildt won the National League Manager of the Year award in 2019, and went 252-199. He was a manager in the Cardinals minor league system before getting promoted about four years ago.
