Jared “Big Baby” Anderson took zero damage in last weekend’s beatdown of Vladimir Tereshkin, and as a result, he’s set for a quick turnaround. Dan Rafael reports that he’ll face Ukraine’s Oleksandr Teslenko on the November 20th Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter card.

Despite weighing around 220 pounds, well-traveled amateur Teslenko (17-1, 13 KO) enjoyed a steady rise through the heavyweight ranks under promoter Lou DiBella before running afoul of Shawndell Winters in 2019. He would not fight again until this past June, when he demolished Argentina’s Cesar David Crenz. At 29 years old, this is basically his last chance to graduate from prospect to contender.

Anderson (10-0, 10 KO), who’s needed less than 10 combined rounds to rack up three stoppage victories this year, figures to be a massive favorite. He’ll have size, power, and pedigree on his side; I doubt he and his team would take a fight on a month’s notice if it was likely to blow up in their faces.
