Jones (concussion) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Coach Joe Judge told Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com earlier Thursday that Jones would be capped to non-contact work, but the mere fact the quarterback already has progressed from no activity Wednesday to some one day later indicates progress through the NFL's protocol for head injuries. "At this point, everything looks positive," Judge added. Indeed, Jones handled the initial reps at Thursday's practice, but due to the fickle nature of concussions he'll likely need to increase his participation further Friday to put himself in a position to play Sunday against the Rams. If he's unable to go, Jones will yield QB duties to veteran Mike Glennon.
