Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale is putting multiple characters in peril next week, as a day out on the rapids threatens to turn fatal thanks to the machinations of evil Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).
The soap has revealed that Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) will be fighting for their lives, as are Meena's boyfriend David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins), who have been seeing romance blossom behind Meena's back.

Discussing fears that David could meet his maker, Wolfenden said: "I think anyone who is on the outward bound excursion with the HOP could fall victim to Meena but now she knows about David and Victoria's little frisson, he's definitely top of the list."
The actor explained that he really enjoys swimming and open water swimming, but still found filming the stunts pretty challenging.
"Obviously, some of it was just too big for us to do so there has been an amazing stunt team involved but we were also able to do a lot of stunts ourselves," he explained.

"I can't give away too much about one of the stunts as we're keeping it top secret but it definitely took me out of my comfort zone.
"A lot of the rapid stuff was us in the fast flowing water so we've a few bruises from that. The stunt guy did say if you come out of doing a stunt like this without a few bruises then you've not done it right. I'd say I've definitely done it right if that's the case!"
Emmerdale airs these scenes next week on ITV.
