Halle Berry undergoes dramatic make-under in new ‘Bruised’ trailer

Halle Berry has delivered a knockout transformation.

The 55-year-old actress — who is known for her glamorous red-carpet appearances — has undergone a dramatic make-under to play a down-and-out mixed martial arts fighter in her upcoming film, “Bruised.”

The sports drama — which also marks Berry’s directorial debut — is set to be released on Netflix next month, with the streaming service dropping the first full trailer on Thursday.

Berry goes makeup-free while playing protagonist Jackie Justice — a onetime MMA champ who has fallen on hard times.

The character is a single mom who scrubs toilets for a living, with Berry seen sporting tattered clothes and dark circles beneath her eyes in the two-minute trailer.

After the character decides to step back into the ring and stage a comeback, she’s met with a series of harsh blows. In one scene, Berry is seen with a black eye as she stands sobbing at a sink.

But while the actress may have undergone a metamorphosis for the movie, many took to the comments section beneath the trailer’s page on YouTube to say she still looks incredible.

“Wait…. I know its rude but… how old is she? She still looks amazing!” one fan declared.

“She’s 55 years of age, I’m slowly letting it sink in,” another admirer remarked, marveling over the actress’ age-defying beauty.

Meanwhile, several others claimed Berry might be nominated for another Academy Award for the role.

She scooped up an Oscar for Best Actress back in 2002 for “Monster’s Ball” — another role in which she underwent a pronounced make-under.

Berry was battered while making “Bruised” — news surfaced in August that she broke several ribs while filming her fight scenes.

“[It was] kind of a crazy injury,” the film’s stunt coordinator, Eric Brown, told Entertainment Weekly. “But that was just her intensity … Halle’s a special case. I’ve worked with tons of actors, and almost none of them have that kind of work ethic.”

“Bruised” will premiere in select theaters on Nov. 17 and will stream on Netflix starting Nov. 24.
