One person was transported to a hospital after an accident on Oct. 13. north of Alliance.&nbsp;

The Nebraska State Patrol and local authorities were called to the Highway 385/Gold Rush Byway overpass accident around 11 a.m.&nbsp;

According to Red Beard Garage &amp; Towing, the vehicle involved was a Ford pickup and a toy hauler style camper.&nbsp;

"The driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries," Nebraska State Patrol Public Relations Director Cody Thomas said. "The passenger was not injured."

Thomas said high winds likely played a factor in the crash.
