Trio steals $25K in sneakers from Queens storage room: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is looking to identify a man who is wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred inside a Queens storage facility earlier this month.

Just before 3 a.m. on October 6, at Life Storage located at 34-12 Collins Place in Flushing, three suspects gained entry by damaging the glass window of the front door, and forced open various storage rooms once inside, officials said.

According to police, the suspects removed approximately $25,000 worth of sneakers from a 34-year-old woman's storage room.

The suspects fled the scene inside of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Police on Thursday released a photo of the first suspect sought. He is described as a dark-skinned male who wore a red hooded sweater and gray sweatpants.

The second suspect is described as a man with a blue face mask who wore black-colored clothing.

The third suspect is described as a man with a blue face mask who wore a blue sweater and black pants.
