On Thursday, a business website called 'Sportico' released their list of the value of all 32 NHL teams. The average value of an NHL franchise is $934 million according to Sportico.
As should be expected, the 'Original Six' dominated the top of the board with all of them being in the top ten.
The Toronto Maple Leafs top the list at a value of $2 billion. The New York Rangers come in second valued at $1.87 billion, the Montreal Canadiens are third valued at $1.58 billion, while the Chicago Blackhawks ($1.36 billion), and Boston Bruins ($1.31 billion) round out the top five.
Also in the top ten, Sportico has the Los Angeles Kings ($1.27 billion), Philadelphia Flyers ($1.25 billion), Washington Capitals ($1.17 billion), Edmonton Oilers ($1.16 billion), and the Detroit Red Wings ($1.03 billion).

At the bottom of the list, in 32nd, they have the Arizona Coyotes who are currently valued at $410 million. Just above them in 31st is the Florida Panthers ($520 million), and the third lowest team, in 30th, is the Columbus Blue Jackets ($525 million).
