Gabrielle Union's Natural Curls Are Thriving in Her Latest Post

We love her vibrant magenta dress, but we love the adorable Afro even more.

Gabrielle Union wants you to know that she doesn't give a single care in the world about what you think of her. She made that very clear in the caption for an Instagram carousel that she posted on Wednesday, October 13. The caption reads, "Live footage of me looking for F$%&s to give and finding none. For the dress to match the occasion, link in bio."

These sentiments of self-confidence were served alongside several fabulous glimpses of her natural curls yet again. The first slide of the carousel shows Union walking through a garden bed in a long dress, then proceeding to turn around and look back at the expansive landscape in front of her. She probably knew that her fans were wanting a little more than just a short video, so she happily delivered that with three gorgeous portraits as well.

Not to sound too corny, but Union's inner beauty truly is shining from the inside out here. As you can see in the second and third photos, she's resting her hand on those curls and showing that she's very much embracing every moment she gets with her curls.

Union's Instagram post comes nearly three months after she decided to get the big chop at the end of July 2021. We subtly asked for more gorgeous natural hair moments like this back then, and, thankfully, we received in full. Even though this seems to be a sponsored post for New York & Company, we'd like to think that Union's curls are the actual star of the show. She's been having lots of fun wearing braids and other styles recently — and we've been having fun watching her experiment — but we're also glad to see her natural hair make a reappearance, along with a short lesson in self-confidence.
