Norwich's search for their first win of the season continues on Saturday when they host high-flying Brighton.

With just one point from their first seven games, the Canaries find themselves falling adrift at the bottom of the Premier League table already, and they will hope to have used the international break to get things back on track.

They're up against a Brighton side who have lost just once all year but find themselves on a run of two games without a victory, having drawn against Crystal Palace and Arsenal before the break.

Here's everything you need to know about the game.

Norwich team news

Todd Cantwell

Whether Todd Cantwell will be back in the lineup is the question on everyone's lips. We haven't seen him for a few weeks now, with personal reasons and a minor Achilles injury contributing to that. Daniel Farke is optimistic but the clock is ticking.

Similarly, Christoph Zimmermann and Mathias Normann are both in with a shout of returning, but long-term absentee Sam Byram remains out.

Brighton team news

Yves Bissouma is back in training, as are Enock Mwepu and Adam Webster, and manager Graham Potter has confirmed that all three are expected to be available for the game.

Unfortunately, Brighton will be without both Danny Welbeck and Steven Alzate, who are facing extended periods on the sidelines following injuries against Crystal Palace.

There could be a return to the lineup for right-back Tariq Lamptey, who has been waiting patiently for his first Premier League minutes since a hamstring injury derailed his rapid rise in December 2020.

Norwich vs Brighton predicted lineups

Norwich (3-5-2): Krul; Gibson, Hanley, Kabak; Aarons, McLean, Lees-Melou, Gilmour, Giannoulis; Pukki, Sargent.

Brighton (3-5-2): Sanchez; Duffy, Burn, Dunk; Lamptey, Moder, Groß, Lallana, Cucurella; Maupay, Trossard.

Norwich vs Brighton head-to-head record

The 2019/20 season yielded two victories for Brighton in this fixture. The Seagulls won 2-0 in November before picking up a 1-0 victory later in the season.

Back in the Championship, however, it was Norwich who generally had the last laugh. They secured their own 2-0 win towards the end of 2016/17, but that did little to make up for the 5-0 hiding they were on the wrong side of earlier in the campaign.

Since the turn of the century, Brighton have won just four of their 13 meetings with Norwich, compared to eight wins for the Canaries.

Norwich vs Brighton score prediction

Norwich put in their best performance of the season last time out against Burnley - the 0-0 scoreline shows standards weren't particularly high anyway - but they'll need a little bit of fortune if they are to avoid defeat here.

Potter's Brighton have stuttered somewhat in recent weeks but have had a few weeks to brush off the cobwebs, and they'll fancy themselves to get back to top form against the Premier League's bottom side here.

If Brighton are on their game, there could be a couple of goals for them to enjoy in this one.

Prediction: Norwich 0-2 Brighton
