Zach Bogosian will be out 4-6 weeks for the Tampa Bay Lightning because of a lower-body injury.

The 31-year-old defenseman signed a three-year, $2.55 million contract ($850,000 average annual value) with the Lightning on July 28. He played 14:14, had one shot and was minus-2 in a 6-2 season-opening loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday.
Defenseman Andrej Sustr was recalled from Syracuse of the American Hockey League.
Tampa Bay visits the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday (7:30 p.m. ET; BSDET, BSSUN, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
Bogosian has played 690 NHL games in 13 seasons, scoring 200 points (53 goals, 147 assists) for the Atlanta Thrashers, Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs and Lightning. He made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut in 2020, getting four assists and averaging 17:40 of ice time in 20 games to help Tampa Bay win the Stanley Cup.
