More than 65 percent of Wisconsin’s adult population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19

LA CROSSE/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – More than 65 percent of Wisconsin’s adult population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of today.

The Wisconsin DHS reports 68.7 percent of women and 61.1 percent of men older than 18 are fully vaccinated.

When you include the 14 percent of people not yet eligible for the vaccine, 57.2  percent of the state’s population has received at least one dose of the vaccine.

On average, 133 people are admitted to hospitals each day for sickness related to the virus, according to the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
