The Philadelphia Eagles are on in primetime in Week 6. That’s the good news. The bad news, at least in the eyes of some, is this is a short week, one in which the opponent is the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If you need help getting pumped up for this one, check your pulse. Philly is understandably a home underdog, but the Bucs should serve as a measuring stick for determining how good Philadelphia is now and how far they have to go to be one of the NFL’s best teams.

Eagles Injury Report vs Buccaneers Week 6

Defensive end Derek Barnett (ankle), offensive lineman Landon Dickerson (ankle), center Jason Kelce (foot/rest), and tackle Jordan Mailata were all listed on Wednesday’s injury report. Still, as of right now, only one member of the Eagles roster, star right tackle Lane Johnson, is ruled out of Thursday’s game.

As of 7 a.m. EST on Thursday morning, the following Buccaneers are ruled out or listed as questionable:

  • Lavonte David, inside linebacker (ankle) OUT
  • Rob Gronkowski, tight end (ribs) OUT
  • Antoine Winfield Jr., safety (concussion protocol) OUT
  • Ryan Jensen, center (hip) questionable
  • Patrick O’Connor, defensive lineman (calf) questionable
  • Jason Pierre-Paul, outside linebacker (shoulder/hand) questionable

According to WynnBET, the Week odds favor Tampa Bay by seven points. We all understand why, right? Philly has developed a habit of going on long offensive scoring droughts. The Bucs seemingly are able to score whenever they feel like it.
