The Prince George's County Board of Education announced they will resume in-person meetings.
Their board meetings have been held virtually since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and the will meetings will resume during their Thursday, Oct. 14 Work Session.
To ensure safety, officials say the meetings will operate under limited attendance to board members, staff and individuals who have registered to provide public comment. Others can view the meetings online.
During the meetings, the board will allow 45 minutes for public comment by a maximum of 15 in-person public comment speakers at each meeting. People who want to comment can register online or call the Board Office at 301-952-6115.

Any individual who does not provide proof of completed vaccination or a negative test within the 72-hour window will not be permitted into the Board meeting
- All attendees will be required to provide photo identification and complete a COVID-19 questionnaire to enable contact tracing by the local health department in case an individual attending the meeting later tests positive for COVID-19
- Face masks must be worn at all times, including when providing public comment
- Social distancing will be enforced at all times
- Once an attendee has entered the Board Auditorium, they will not be permitted re-entry for any reason
