ANDERSON COUNTY—A Kansas woman died in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Wednesday in Anderson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Chevy Cruz driven by Odyessie K. Allen, 31, Westphalia, Kan. was northbound on Colorado Road three miles southeast of Westphalia.
The vehicle traveled left of center and struck a southbound 2018 Chrysler 300 driven by Valorie L. Stewart, 49, Kincaid, head-on.
Allen was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Feuerborn Family Funeral Home. EMS transported Stewart to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The drivers were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
