VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Senior Diego Gutierrez scored two goals and added one assist as the Creighton men's soccer team scored four goals in the second half to record a 4-2 win against Villanova on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bluejays posted their first points during BIG EAST play (1-4-0) and improved to 4-6-1 overall, while the Wildcats fell to 4-2-0 in league action and 8-4-0 overall.
Gutierrez found the back of the net during the 51st and 84th minutes and tallied an assist on the game-winner. The Omaha native leads the Bluejays with 14 points this season from six goals and two assists.
