- The RMU volleyball team makes its first annual swing through the Midwest as a member of the Horizon League this week with a trio of matches. The Colonials will take on Milwaukee Thursday, Oct. 14, at 7:00 p.m. before making the trek to Green Bay Friday, Oct. 15, for another 7:00 p.m. first serve. The road trip concludes Sunday, Oct. 17, with a 3:00 p.m. match @ UIC.

- The three-game road trip for the Colonials opens a stretch in which eight of the next nine matches for RMU will come on the road.

- In its last outing, RMU earned a 3-2 victory over Youngstown State (10/8) at the UPMC Events Center. Graduate student Alyson Londot paced the Colonials in the win with a season-high 16 kills and added a .300 attack percentage, three digs and four blocks.

- Also against the Penguins, graduate student Emma Granger contributed 13 kills, a service ace and six blocks. The six blocks for Granger helped her push her career tally in the category to 463, which is tied for the RMU career record with former middle blocker Becky Jay (2011-14).

 - In addition to being tied with Jay for the RMU career record for total blocks, Granger is just two block assists shy of establishing a new mark in the category. Granger owns 396 during her time as a member of the Colonials, with Jay also currently owning that record with 397.

- RMU enters action this week leading the Horizon League in service aces with an average of 2.09 per set. The Colonials also rank fourth in the league in both hitting percentage (.192) and blocks (1.99 per set).

- A total of four Colonials rank in the top 10 in the Horizon League in service aces. Graduate student Emma Granger paces the conference with an average of 0.60 per set, while freshman Ashleigh Wallin (0.37) ranks sixth, senior Nikolette Zanolli (0.35) seventh and sophomore Annie Monaco (0.33) ninth.

- In RMU's 10 matches away from the UPMC Events Center, senior Alyssa Hudak leads the Colonials with 65 kills (1.86 per set) to go along with a .249 attack percentage. Sophomore Annie Monaco owns 59 kills and 48 digs during that same span, while Londot and Granger have contributed 54 and 53 kills, respectively.

- RMU returns home to the UPMC Events Center Tuesday, Oct. 19, to host Wright State for a 6:00 p.m. match before heading back on the road for five consecutive #HLVB tilts.

The All-Time Series (Milwaukee) –
The Colonials and Panthers will meet for just the second time Thursday, with Milwaukee having won the first meeting, 3-0, between the two programs August 29, 2014, as part of the Panther Invitational. In that match former outside hitter Arden Fisher (2013-16) notched a double-double with 11 kills and 12 digs.

The All-Time Series (Green Bay) – Friday's match between the Colonials and Phoenix is the third in an all-time series that dates back to 2007. RMU earned a 3-0 win over Green Bay August 25, 2007, in Mount Pleasant, Mich., as part of the Central Michigan Tournament in the first meeting between the two programs, while the Phoenix returned the favor with a 3-0 sweep of the Colonials Sept. 12, 2009, at the Best Western Falcon Plaza Invitational in Bowling Green, Ohio. In the 3-0 win for RMU, former outside hitter Emily Wolthuis (2004-08) led the Colonials with 12 kills, while the match was also the NCAA Division I debut for former middle blocker Amanda Graham (2007-10), who recorded six kills and three blocks.

The All-Time Series (UIC) – The all-time series between the Colonials and Flames dates back to 2009, and Sunday's match is the fourth between the two programs. UIC has won each of the first three meetings, earning a 3-2 win over the Colonials Sept. 27, 2009, at the Charles L. Sewall Center before earning victories of 3-1 and 3-0 in Chicago, Ill., in the first matches between the two programs as Horizon League opponents. Former middle blocker Hannah Veith (2008-11) recorded 16 kills, a .538 hitting percentage and six blocks in the first meeting between RMU and UIC in 2009.

Lucky No. 13 – Senior Nikolette Zanolli has been a consistent presence for the Colonials on defense in recent weeks, as the libero has racked up 52 digs in her last five matches since returning from injury, an average of 2.60 per set. Zanolli enters RMU's three-match road trip just 13 digs shy of becoming the 13th student-athlete in school history to eclipse 1,000 career digs. She would be the first to reach the threshold since Taylor Lord (2015-18) during the 2017 season.

Ace Is The Place – Graduate student Emma Granger, who owns the RMU career record for service aces with 225, continues to rank in the top five nationally in the category as the Colonials open a three-match road trip Thursday. Granger ranks fourth in total service aces with 39, while her average of 0.60 per set is tied for seventh. As a team, RMU ranks second in service aces with 144, trailing Delaware by just one and ahead of Saint Louis (142) and Delaware State and Towson (141 each). The Colonials finished with 11 service aces in a 3-2 win over Youngstown State (10/8) and rank sixth in NCAA Division I with an average of 2.09 aces per set.
