Vaccine requirements are causing an increase in vaccinations, not layoffs. Canada and Mexico to allow non-essential travel to the US.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 463 new COVID-19 cases and 23 deaths on Wednesday.


The FDA’s final decision on Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster shot authorization is set to be made next week, WFAA reports. After the FDA’s decision is made, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will debate who actually should get the boosters and when.


Nonessential travel from Canada and Mexico to the US will be allowed again starting next month, KERA reports. Nonessential entry has been banned since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. Proof of vaccination will be required for entry.


Vaccine requirements are increasing vaccinations, not mass layoffs WFAA reports. Companies such as Texas Health Resources, Cook Children’s, Baylor Scott and White, and United Airlines report nearly 100% employee vaccination after implementing a vaccine requirement. These companies report less than 1% of employees having been let go over the requirement.
