NHP looking for information on fatal pedestrian crash on US 50

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - OCT. 18 Update: The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for answers as to why a man was walking on US 50 east of Deer Run in Carson City.

It happened on October 13, 2021 just before 7:30 P.M. The pedestrian, identified as Allen Lynch, 38, of Dayton, was hit by a Chevy Impala. Lynch was transported to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The crash is being investigated by the NHP’s Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (MIRT).
