The 2007 Toyota Tundra is one of the most problematic Tundra models ever created. It is considered the worst Tundra because of its many engine problems. The 2007 model year also has drivetrain and fuel system problems.

The 2007 Toyota Tundra came with three different powertrain options. The standard 4.0-liter V6 engine made 236 horsepower. The new Toyota Tundra comes with a standard twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 i-FORCE engine. It makes 389 horsepower. Its hybrid i-FORCE MAX engine makes a combined 437 horsepower with the help of motors.

The older Tundra got 17 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon on the highway. The new Toyota Tundra gets an improved 18 miles per gallon in the city and 23 miles per gallon on the highway. The hybrid model will get even better fuel economy. The Toyota Tundra has come a long way from its worst model.
