Megan Fox's Dating History: Brian Austin Green, Machine Gun Kelly

Megan Fox quickly became one of the most sought-after actresses after making a name for herself in Hollywood. The Transformers star has been linked to a handful of celebrities before she found love with current boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly.

Megan filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Brian Austin Green, for the second time in November 2020. The exes separated in 2019 and share three sons together: Noah, Bodhi and Journey.

Her 2023 poetry book, Pretty Boys are Poisonous, drew inspiration from some physically abuse relationships with unnamed partners, as Megan revealed in an interview with Good Morning America.

“I’ve only been publicly connected to a few people that I shared energy with, I guess we could say, who were her horrific people and also very famous people,” she said. “But no one knows that I was involved with those people.”

Brian Austin Green

They crossed paths in 2004 and were together until 2019, although they were on-and-off. After meeting on the set of Hope & Faith, they got engaged in November 2006. Despite going through some hot and cold points in their romance, the couple wed in June 2010 and welcomed their first child, Noah, in 2012.

Megan delivered baby No. 2, Bodhi, in 2014, one year before she filed for divorce from the actor for the first time, citing irreconcilable differences. Her pregnancy with their third child, Journey, appeared to put their plans on hold for a bit, although they ended up separating in December 2019 after 10 years of marriage and she filed for divorce again in November 2020.

After portraying love interests Michaela and Sam in Transformers, fans were convinced a real-life romance was brewing between the costars, especially because she and Brian were not on solid ground at the time.

It wasn’t until 2018 that Megan herself revealed they felt sparks during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I mean, I would confirm it was romantic. I love him,” she said while chatting with host Andy Cohen at the time. “I’ve never been really private about that. I love him.”

Machine Gun Kelly

Megan and MGK sparked dating rumors in May 2020, two months after they met on the set of the crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass. She appeared in the music video for his song “My Bloody Valentine” that same month and confirmed their romance in July, with Megan calling the rapper her “twin flame.” The couple then got engaged in January 2022.

Megan and Kelly hit a rough patch that sparked split rumors in August that year, although they were dedicated to working on their relationship. A year later, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple was “fully back together” and “in a really good place.” MGK supported Megan’s book release, with Megan even revealing that he encouraged her to write it.

In her interview on GMA, Megan revealed for the first time that she and MGK once suffered a miscarriage.

“I’ve never been through anything like that before in my life,” the actress said. “I have three kids. So it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together.”
