Pirates battle Randolph, will host Cole for Parent’s Night this week

The Varsity Pirates took on Randolph last week in game three of district play. The Pirates will host Cole this Friday, October 15 at home. It will also be Parent’s Night.
“Offensively, we continue to see great progress in the run game,” said Coach Trevino. “Offensive standouts include Junior RB Deven Caldera, who rushed for 120 yards on 38 carries and a touchdown. Junior RB Albert Aguilar also contributed 31 yards on 7 carries.”
“Paving the way was an offensive line that consisted of Elijiah Ramirez, Ivan Reyna, Elias Hernandez, Jacob Guevara, Kasen Boyd, Damien Myers and Jason Vega.”
“Defensive standouts include Sophomore CB Rudy Cepeda, who led our team with 6 solo tackles. Junior SS Albert Aguilar (4 solos, 3 assists) and Senior LB Emanuel Garcia (3 solos, 1 assist) also had stellar performances on defense,” Trevino said.
