The Dallas Cowboys have seen their roster depth tested early and often so far this season. Players like DeMarcus Lawrence, Michael Gallup, and La’el Collins were taken away from the team for various reasons as soon as the season opener was in the book, but the Cowboys also started the season as a whole with a few players on ice.
Dallas carried a handful of notable players and placed them on injured reserve as soon as the 53-man roster was set so that they could eventually activate them for usage this season. The Cowboys are preparing for their final game before the bye this week and on their first day of practice started the clock on two players returning.
