The city parking lot at the northwest corner of First and Willis avenues will be closed for about two weeks beginning Monday, Oct. 18 to permit the installation of solar canopies and panels, the Perry City Hall announced Wednesday.
Vehicles will not be allowed to park in the city lot during the solar installation, and overnight parking restrictions will be suspended in the downtown area during the period when the parking lot is closed.
Visitors to the Perry City Hall or the Perry Community School District administrative office may park on Willis Avenue or on First Avenue.
The parking lot for Perry Wash-All at 1121 First Ave. will not be closed during the city construction. Parking in the Perry Wash-All lot is for customers of laundry only.
