Ontario County Public Health: 24 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday

HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 24 new COVID-19 cases Oct. 13. 

Seven cases of the cases involved people who are under 18 years old, and 23 new recoveries were noted Wednesday. 

Since the start of the pandemic, 9,157 cases have been reported; 120 people have died and 8,839 people have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for COVID-19 transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
