Judge Lilly made a public statement yesterday, "If you are a resident or a worker here in Brown County for any company or organization and that company requires you to accept the vaccination and you object for any other reasons listed in the governors order, I encourage you to contact this office, we will take the information down and we will report it to the Texas attorney general for consideration and prosecution."
As the fight for individuals and their rights continues, Brown County Judge, Dr. Lilly is one of many who is stepping up for their community. After Governor Abbott's ban for vaccine mandates on employees including private employees, officials across the state are stepping in and Dr. Lilly is first in line when it comes to defending the freedom of Texans.
He said he is not against the vaccine, "I encourage everyone possible to take the vaccination, but that being said, I respect and will defend to my dying day... everyone’s right as an individual to choose whether to take that vaccination or not... always and forever your freedoms are paramount in our hearts. I encourage you to take all the precautions you feel are appropriate to keep from contracting the virus.”
