Andersson is dealing with a groin injury and won't be available Thursday versus Vegas at a minimum, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Andersson was placed on injured reserve Monday, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him miss a handful of contests to start the campaign. The 23-year-old Swede picked up six points in 23 appearances with LA last season.
