After being placed on waivers by the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday afternoon, forward
Zack MacEwen has been claimed by the Philadelphia Flyers according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
MacEwen, 25, was signed as a free agent out of the QMJHL in 2017. He appeared in 55 games over three seasons for the Canucks, tallying nine points (six goals, three assists), 69 penalty minutes, and was a +/-0.
All other players on Tuesday's waivers cleared at 2pm ET this afternoon. As for Wednesday's waiver wire, the only player placed was defenceman
Dennis Cholowski of the Seattle Kraken.
