Apparently, one website believes this town is Missouri's "Best" small town, and it may be, but I have just never heard of it before, have you?

A website called farandwide.com has taken it upon itself to rank the Best Small Towns in Every US State, and when I got to the Show-Me State of Missouri on their list, I was quite surprised. The website determined that a small town called Weston, Missouri was the best small town in Missouri, on the site they say Weston has a population of 1,784 people and was founded way back in 1837!

Now one of the things that I do respect about the rankings from this website compared to other sites that do these rankings, is that they do give a reason as to why they believe it is the best, on the site they say this about Weston...

"Weston, located along the beautiful Missouri River. The town is also filled with wineries, distilleries and pubs, not to mention tons of history. Established in 1837, it was a stopping point for Lewis and Clark during their exploration of the country."

Weston is located about 40 mins north and west of downtown Kansas City, to see the rest of the list for yourself just click here!

I mean I have never heard of Weston but that's probably because it is so small and literally on the other side of the state from Hannibal, I am always surprised when I see one of the lists about small towns and don't see Hannibal win for the state of Missouri, maybe it's biased but Hannibal is "America's Home Town" after all. As far as Illinois goes well no shocker there, the website picked Galena as the winner. Have you ever been to Weston or Galena?
