FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WKRC) - Drivers tired of long lines at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will soon have a new option in Ohio.
lt. Gov. Jon Husted announced the launch of BMV Express self-service kiosks in Fairview.
The kiosks will let drivers renew their vehicle registrations at this kiosk. Then they can print their registration cards and validation stickers right from the kiosk.
The BMV says the average transaction takes less than two minutes.
There are a few things customers can't do including update their address or insurance or reprint a duplicate registration. The machines only take credit cards.
There will be nine of these kiosks around the state, four of them will be at Meijer stores, including the Fairfield kiosk. It will be the only one in Greater Cincinnati.
