With everyone still digesting the stunning resignation of Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden on Monday evening, our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook are looking ahead to January by releasing betting odds on who will be the team’s next permanent head coach.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll are currently the betting favorites to replace Gruden. They are both given +500 (5-1) odds to get the top job in Vegas.

It’s no surprise that Bieniemy has opened as a favorite to be the next coach to roam the sideline for the Silver and Black. He is considered a great bet to get a head coaching job in the next hiring cycle and he would be a good fit for the Raiders. He is my personal favorite to get the gig. I also get the Daboll odds — he’s a star and will get a job this hiring cycle, too.

The other betting favorites include Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady (+750); Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia; Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles; Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley (+800); Raiders defensive coordinator Gus Bradley; Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore; and Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney (+1000).

There are also some fun bet opportunities. Raiders legend Howie Long and Peyton Manning are the biggest long shots at +8000.
