CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Roy Rogers restaurants have been gone for a long time in the Tri-State but get ready for their return.
The Western-themed chain announced a partnership with a restaurant group to expand into the Tri-State. One Holland Corp. announced plans to open ten new Roy Rogers locations in the next six years.
“We couldn’t be happier to be back in the community and deliver new memories to the next generation of Royalists,” says Gregg Koffler, Roy Rogers VP of Franchise Sales.
Roy Rogers was born in downtown Cincinnati in a home that was torn down to build Riverfront Stadium. Legend has it Rogers' home was right where second base was located.
There aren't any specific locations named yet but they're planned for Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, Boone, Kenton, Campbell and Dearborn counties. Roy Rogers restaurants are currently located in northeast and mid-Atlantic states.
