Daniel Craig enjoys final martini after 15 years of portraying James Bond during visit on The Tonight Show

Daniel Craig after portraying James Bond for 15 years enjoyed a final martini in honor of Agent 007 on Tuesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 53-year-old English actor sipped on his character's signature drink as he wrapped his press tour for his final Bond film No Time To Die on the NBC talk show.

'I'd be honored to share a cheers of a martini with you Mr. Bond. Mr Craig. Thank you for everything,' said Jimmy, 47, at the end of their interview as he produced a pair of martinis.

They stood up and clinked glasses as the studio audience applauded.

'Thank you,' Daniel said as he took a sip.

'Fifteen years,' Jimmy said.

'That's not bad,' Daniel said as he raised his stemmed glass to the audience marking his final talk show appearance as the sitting James Bond.

Jimmy earlier noted that Daniel was the only guest in the history of the show to come on three times for the same movie, which was delayed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He congratulated Daniel for making his mark on the franchise and recently being named an honorary Commander in the British Royal Navy.

'It's really nice for me. My father was in the Navy. He sadly passed last year. And so it meant a lot. What an honor, an incredible thing,' Daniel said.

Jimmy also asked Daniel if it was 'super emotional' filming his last Bond movie after becoming the star of the franchise in 2006 with Casino Royale.

He said the last night of filming at 2 o'clock in the morning after shooting his last scene that everyone stayed late.

'Suddenly there's 200 people standing there and I had to make a speech, which is just lovely,' he laughed.

Jimmy also asked Daniel to celebrate his 15 years as James Bond with a speed round of his Bond films by sharing the first memory that comes to mind.

Daniel was referencing the rooftop chase scene and revealed that he had a 'genuine fear of heights' before becoming Bond.

'But I had to get up there, and sort of like incrementally go higher and higher and higher and higher and eventually I was sort of leaping out of windows onto moving busses it was quite an arc,' he said.

Skyfall was next.

'Judi Dench. That's easy,' Daniel said of his co-star.

'I mean, you know, the fact that I got to work with her on three movies and she's one of the most glorious, delicious human beings on planet Earth,' he added.

'We did the biggest explosion in movie history in the Moroccan desert. I don't know we told the Moroccan government that we were doing it,' Daniel said.

He recalled telling his co-star Lea Seydoux to stay in frame as the blast exploded nearby and rocked them.

'I mean, it was terrifying. It was just like this thing rose up. It's percussion on your face and it was remarkable. And kind of incredibly moving in a weird way,' Daniel said.

When asked about No Time To Die, Daniel said, 'I don't know, it's like the culmination of all that. That's what I'd say. I mean, that just, this exists because of these four,' Daniel said.

Jimmy then thanked Daniel for adding dimension to the Bond character and reinvigorating the franchise.

'Can we have a drink now?,' Daniel said prompting Jimmy to produce the martinis.
