Tony Khan makes a couple of announcements.
On the October 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page won the Casino Ladder Match to earn a shot at Kenny Omega and the AEW World Title.
While it wasn't made official when Hangman would "cash in" his chip, Tony Khan told Robbie Barstool on My Mom's Basement.
"Last year [the AEW World Title eliminator tournament] culminated with Kenny and Hangman, which is very fitting because now as we go into Full Gear this year, Kenny is the champion and he's facing Hangman," said Khan.
The bout hasn't been officially announced by AEW on television or social media.
Elsewhere during the interview, Khan was asked about the upcoming Owen Hart Cup and if he could provide more details.
Khan said he would provide more information about the tournament "in due time," before saying, "when we’re back on Wednesday nights with Dynamite, I plan to make more announcements about The Owen"
AEW is running Saturday night Dynamite specials the next two weeks due to the NHL season beginning on TNT. The show will be back on Wednesdays on October 27.
