The All-22 view of Sunday’s 25-22 win over the Cincinnati Bengals revealed two incredible throws made by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The television broadcast angle can sometimes hide the difficulty of individual plays, especially for quarterbacks. From the end zone angle, all players are visible and the true skill required can be seen.

Thanks to the All-22, Rodgers’ wizardry with the football becomes increasingly clear.

On the first, Rodgers somehow fit the football into an impossible window to Randall Cobb despite immense pressure applied by Trey Hendrickson late in the play. How Rodgers even got the football out of his hands was impressive. The fact that he put the ball in a perfect location was nothing short of incredible, especially considering the situation (third-and-long late in overtime). And he was fading away and getting hit while making the throw. The completion to Cobb set up the game-winning field goal one play later.

The second play showcases Rodgers’ otherworldly arm talent. He used an altered arm angle to get the ball around the incoming defensive lineman and on a line to Davante Adams, who was still making the inside break in his route when the ball was thrown. Somehow, the throw beat the inside leverage by the cornerback and was almost perfectly accurate, allowing Adams to make a sliding catch behind the corner and in front of the safety. This was bracketed coverage, but Rodgers and Adams still beat it.
