Scheana Shay Says Brock Davies “Is More Involved In Drama” On Vanderpump Rules Than She Is

Vanderpump Rules is back for Season 9, and much has changed since we last saw our Survers. OG cast members Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, and Jax Taylor were shown the door by Bravo. Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix have legit furniture, and Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are both new moms. Tom and Tom Schwartz are opening their own bar. It’s like the twilight zone.

Scheana’s journey to motherhood wasn’t an easy one. Scheana announced that she suffered a miscarriage in June of 2020. Scheana was angry at Lala because Lala ditched her when she needed support after her miscarriage.

In October of 2020, Scheana shared that she and boyfriend Brock Davies were going to welcome a baby.

Scheana welcomed her daughter on April 26, 2021. Scheana wrote on Instagram,”My heart is SO FULL…we welcomed to the world Summer Moon Honey Davies, weighing in at 6lbs 12 oz.”

Personal trainer and rugby player Brock popped the question in July of 2021, but Scheana did something surprising first- she got a prenup before the engagement. You go, girl! Protect your assets. Brock is also appearing on Pump Rules this season. Scheana said that Brock is “perfect for reality television” because he is “brutally honest.”

In the Season 9 trailer, Lala told Katie Maloney that Brock has two kids, and he allegedly “hasn’t spoken to them in four years.” Brock acknowledged that he and Lala had some drama over his family situation. And Lisa Vanderpump herself stated that Brock’s first season on the show was a bumpy one.

In an interview with People, Scheana and Brock broke down what to expect on Pump Rules this season. Scheana stated, “It’s more [about] him than me, which is crazy. I’ve never had my partner more involved in the drama of the show than myself.” Could Brock possibly be more extra than drama queen Scheana?

Brock remarked, “It’s actual genuine, rooted, deep issues that people have with each other. And when somebody else wants to try and do a new business venture, or they want to try and do something else, those deep-rooted issues are going to come up.” Pump Rules viewers will see the couple as they build their careers. Scheana’s podcast will be featured, as will Brock’s launch of his fitness app, HOMEBODY.

“Throughout the season, you’ll see that happen — and it’s not fun stuff. My kids [from my previous relationship] get brought back up,” Brock explained. “It’s definitely deeper than superficial arguments.” Has Brock seen this show?

Brock did find an upside to filming Pump Rules. “Filming a reality show really helped us,” he said. “It was therapy, pretty much, on all fronts. You just have to sit there and talk about your feelings and how you felt in certain situations,” the fitness trainer said. “So, I definitely did that over and over again, which was fun.”

For Scheana, Season 9 is different because of all the cast changes. “I’m just in such a different place in my life, with [Brock] and with having the baby, that I was really focused on that,” Scheana explained. “But their presence is definitely missed. It was very different not having people that I’m still friends with in real life not be able to come to events that they would normally be at,” she added.
