Shang-Chi Star Simu Liu Tweets Reaction to Squid Game Episode 6


The Netflix series Squid Game is taking the world by storm and it has been confirmed just recently that it is now the service's biggest series debut. A lot of people have been talking about the series, especially its brutal and heartbreaking moments. Now, an MCU star has joined the Squid Game mania.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu recently tweeted his reaction on a particular moment in Squid Game. He said, "So I guess I'm just gonna be traumatized by marbles for the rest of my life then." The actor is referring to the sixth episode in which the characters are playing a game of marbles. Without spoiling what happened, it ended up as a heartbreaking and emotional episode.

This is yet again another proof that Squid Game is indeed the most popular show at the moment. It is interesting to see that celebrities are now also checking out the series and have strong responses to it. A lot of followers agree with Liu's reaction to the sixth episode. It really was a traumatizing episode that gave us a ride on the characters' emotional journey as they face yet again another life-threatening situation.

Liu isn't just the only celebrity who has publicly shared their reaction or love for the series. Stars like Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Simon Pegg, and Taika Waititi have also said that they have seen the series and love it. Even Jeff Bezos joined the club and expressed his admiration for the series.

In a similar fashion, Liu's film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was also a huge phenomenon when it was released last month and it is still going strong at the box office. Last weekend, it ranked number four at the domestic box office weekend in its sixth week which is an impressive feat. The film is set to be released in Disney+ on November 12 as part of the Disney+ Day celebration.
