Julio Jones injury updates: The latest on Titans WR's Week 6 status

The Tennessee Titans – and fantasy football managers – have been without the services of wide receiver Julio Jones for the past two games due to a hamstring injury.

Jones began feeling “tight” during the Week 3 win over the Indianapolis Colts, as was revealed by head coach Mike Vrabel following the game.

However, what seemed like a minor issue has now turned into a two-game absence, as Jones didn’t suit up in Week 4 against the New York Jets, or in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In the meantime, the Titans’ passing attack continues to struggle, mostly because of poor pass protection, and the team desperately needs all hands on deck for an extremely tough Week 6 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

If any shred of an update is what you’re looking for, you’re in the right place. We’ll update this article below with any and all information regarding Jones’ status as the Titans prepare to play on “Monday Night Football” this week.

Jones was practicing for the third straight day and confirmed that he’ll be suiting up in Week 6 against the Bills.

Oct. 14: Jones listed as a full participant in Thursday's practice

Oct. 14: Jones practicing again on Thursday

Jones was at practice yet again on Thursday, putting him squarely on track to play in Week 6. The Titans should release their first injury report of the week later today around 4 p.m. ET.

Oct. 13: Jones back at practice on Wednesday

Jones made his return to practice and looked good. With the Titans playing on Monday night, they won’t release their first injury report until Thursday.

Oct. 11: Vrabel says "we'll see" on Jones' status

As is typically the case, Titans head coach Vrabel didn’t offer much in the way of an injury update for Jones on Monday. Instead, he said that “we’ll see on Wednesday,” when the first injury report of the week is revealed around 4 p.m. ET.

However, we should get a good idea of Jones’ participation beforehand when beat writers on the ground at practice either do or don’t spot the veteran wideout outside. We’ll have updates here as soon as they’re available.
