4 Golden State Warriors most primed for a career-best season

It’s been a terrific start to the preseason for the Golden State Warriors. However, all that will vanish when October 19 rolls around.

The Warriors will take on the Los Angeles Lakers to kick off the season then welcome the Clippers two days later. It’s a tough start for Golden State, playing arguably two of the best teams in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors have several players on the brink of breaking out, and they should game some career years from a few of them.

If the Warriors don’t come out hot, they may struggle to get going early, and after missing the playoffs because they lost two straight in the play-in tournament, they’ll want to make a good early impression.

With Klay Thompson sidelined until at least Christmas, the Warriors will need to count on a couple of their five offseason additions and then the hopeful emergence of some of their high-ceiling prospects.

We know what Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are capable of, so they likely won’t break out into some never-before-seen form. However, we should see a few key Warriors take steps in the right direction. Let’s dive into who they could be.
