Video emerges of anti-vaxxer pest storming another cafe screaming 'I just want a coffee, bro' at bewildered barista - as it's revealed he's caused chaos at SIX coffee shops

  • A new video shows podcaster Dominic Karnaby verballing café staff
  • On Tuesday video showed him abusing a barista at Tempe's Cafe Dzajko
  • The viral footage showed him berating her over the store's vaccination policy
  • The Christian podcaster pulled a similar stunt, haranguing a waitress in July
  • He abused Marrickville's Bespoke and Grind staff over NSW's indoor mask rule

An anti-vaxxer who made headlines after filming himself abusing a café barista over the store's vaccine policy has repeated the performance at another establishment.

Dominic Karnaby, a Christian podcaster who runs the Drayk Podcast Show, uploaded another video of himself yelling at staff in a different café about its entry policy.

In the video Karnaby has titled, Communism v Drayk, he's heard to say to a masked café worker, 'I don't think you understand how segregation works.'

'First it's don't come in unless you've checked in, don't come in unless you're vaccinated and then you can't even buy food at Woolworths unless you're vaccinated,' Karnaby said.

'Do you really want to go down that dangerous precedent here in NSW, sir?'

He then complains about the politicisation of the vaccine entry requirements under the current public health orders.

'I just want a coffee, I just a coffee, bro,' he said.

'It shouldn't be that big of a friggin' deal to make it so politicised, it's a circus right now, just give me a coffee.'

The staff member at the café remains remarkably composed in the face of the tirade, offering little reaction.

In the new video Karnaby said he had been refused service at six businesses on the same day.

'Your business needs to stop being discriminative. I'm not ok with that,' he said.

Karnaby also claims people such as himself who are 'immuno-compressed' with asthma would not be happy with the cafe's policy.

The new video adds to Karnaby's earlier efforts where he shared footage of himself hectoring staff at Bespoke and Grind, in Sydney's inner-west, during the city's Covid lockdown in July after he was politely asked why he was not wearing a mask.

The footage from July showed Karnaby berating a waitress as he compared mask mandates to 'rape'.

On Tuesday, video of Karnaby launching a verbal tirade on hospitality workers at Tempe's Cafe Dzajko went viral.

The footage showed him storming into the store on Monday and scolding barista Andrassa Kest after he spotted a sign outside noting the business would be following the law by requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination before service.

He claims the new jab regulation - which is a part of NSW's reopening rules for businesses after exiting lockdown on October 11 - is 'segregation' as he hurls abuse over the expresso machine.

'Excuse me, what makes you think that I'm going to hand over my medical, private information of whether I'm vaccinated or not vaccinated to buy a cup of coffee?' Karnaby shouts at Ms Kest.

'Do you see how insanely hypocritical that sounds? That you are actually going to be walking implicitly into segregation... I'm very powerful and I will come back!'

'Do you have anything to say to that? 'Cos I know I'm protected, under this discrimination and this putrid attempt to segregate, OK.'

Cafe Dzajko in the Sydney suburb of Tempe was subjected to a tirade of abuse from Karnaby on Monday
Andrassa Kest (pictured) said she was frightened by the irate man but appreciated the outpouring of support from the local community

The video, which went viral after being posted by an anonymous Instagram account, sparked widespread outrage as the community rallied to show their support for the business, with locals flocking to the café to leave tips between $10 and $50.

Speaking to Cafe Dzajko owner Sally Dzajko, Today reporter Gabrielle Boyle slammed Karnaby's actions as 'gutless'.

'This was a pretty gutless act,' she said on Wednesday.

'This man was happy to video the staff and post this video online, but he wasn't happy to show his own face or name himself. The staff say they felt pretty intimidated by what took place but they are doing okay today.'

Supporters have since fired up their social media accounts urging Sydneysiders to head over to the café and buy a treat as a show of solidarity.

'That sort of disrespect is just plain wrong! I headed down there today to buy my lunch & leave a tip,' one man wrote on Facebook.

'They are great people who deserve our respect and support. They actually started the business during the pandemic. What could be more enterprising than that.

'Get down there as soon as you can for a coffee and a sandwich.'

Another man said he walked four kilometres to visit the eatery and offer his support.

'When I got there, the owner said my coffee was free because someone else had seen this idiot's video and decided to shout the next ten customers,' his Tweet read.

'Incredible scenes.'

Ms Kest said she was frightened by Karnaby but appreciated the outpouring of support from the community.

'I am a little bit scared and frustrated because I was just following the rules,' told 9News.

'One bad thing brings a lot of nice and good things.'

Ms Dzajko did not witness the encounter with the anti-vaxxer, but told Daily Mail Australia she was appalled at what happened.

'It is dreadful. I don't know why people have to be so mean. It's a shame, it's just heartbreaking.'

Despite the public outcry, Karnaby seemed chuffed by his efforts - posting media articles about the incident on his Instagram.

'Nice story you ran with ABC News! One thing you got right was that I Am Powerful! [sic]', he wrote.

'Yes I roar I'm a lion duuuur!!' another post read, 'You wanna play God with these passports and tell me what I can and can't do in society because I'm not jabbed with your devil juice.'

Karnaby declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail Australia, saying he did not think he needed to comment on 'vaccine apartheid'.

Members of the community flocked online to urge Sydneysiders to show their support for Cafe Dzajko after the video of Karnaby's anti-vax tirade began circulating online
One man said he walked four kilometres to buy a coffee from the café in the wake of Monday's incident

In July, Karnaby marched into the Marrickville café and launched a blistering attack accusing a waitress of 'intimidation' after he was asked why he was not masked before posting footage of the confrontation on Instagram.

Before flying into an irrational rage and claimed he had a 'medical exemption', the clip begins standing inside the store filming a sign at the till specifically requesting customers do not enter without a mask.

'Who are you, sorry?' Are you the government? No. Are you the police? No,' he hounds.

'I have an exemption! So just know your rights, but also know that I have rights as well. I have asthma, I have a breathing complication so I can't wear a mask.'

'If someone is being raped do you go and tell them that they are not allowed to feel those feelings that they are being raped and abused by somebody?'

Karnaby proudly shared articles about his antics on Monday on his social media page

'This should be a safe space for everybody and I am not going to stand for it.

'Some of these muppets over here might tolerate it, but not me, my friend.'

A second video showed Karnaby continuing to berate the staff, accusing them of 'intimidation' and threatening to make them 'go viral' after the owner calmly explained his reaction was not warranted.

'Excuse me, all you needed to say was ''I have an exemption'. That's all,' she explains.

Karnaby said: 'You need to get that guy into line, it is disgusting how he just treated me.

'The intimidation needs to stop. Do you want to go viral? You are already going to.'

The serial haranguer's social media accounts are filled with biblical commentary, anti-abortion sentiments, and views opposing Covid vaccines.

Around 75 per cent of people in NSW are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 - but that has not stopped a small but vocal minority from lashing out against vaccine rules (pictured, a woman is vaccinated in Sydney)

One meme features a woman holding up a sign reading: 'The blood of Christ is my vaccine', while another shows a cross-shaped vaccine syringe.

Covid vaccines are very effective at stopping deaths and hospitalisations, with a study of 3.4million Americans finding Pfizer is 95 per cent effective at preventing serious illness.

A similar study of AstraZeneca in the UK found the Oxford vaccine is 80 per cent effective at preventing severe sickness in Covid-19 patients.

While some Australians remain hesitant to get the jab, the majority of NSW residents are fully vaccinated.

As of Wednesday, 75.2 per cent of over 16s across the state had received both doses, while 90.8 per cent have had one shot of a vaccine.
