Which members of the Carolina Panthers are hanging by a thread ahead of the team’s crucial Week 6 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings?

The Carolina Panthers have a lot to contemplate after their disastrous loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Bank of America Stadium. This was a tale of two halves and missed opportunities, something that’s going to hamper Matt Rhule and his roster moving forward unless some pretty big adjustments are made.

It’s not like the problems emerging are new. The same thing keeps happening week after week and the Panthers are just lucky their advantages against poor opposition over the first three games enabled them to see those contests out.

The pressure is building. And things don’t get any easier this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings – who are far better than their 2-3 record suggests.

Without further ado, here are five members of the Panthers organization who are hanging by a thread ahead of Week 6.

Matt Paradis – Carolina Panthers C

Matt Paradis has had some nice moments in run blocking. But the simple fact of the matter is his production when it comes to pass support leaves a lot to be desired.

Not only this, but the veteran should also be doing a better job of communicating with his quarterback and offensive line teammates.

The Eagles caused havoc with stunts and other innovative ways to generate pressure with four guys, something that caused Sam Darnold to panic in the pocket, execute poorly, and make mistakes.

Paradis is fortunate the Panthers don’t have any realistic option to bench the Boise State product. Pat Elflein is on the reserve/injured list and Sam Tecklenburg lacks experience, so Carolina could be stuck with the player for the remainder of the season.
