Astros thump White Sox; Freddie Freeman homers to lift Atlanta; Dodgers force Game 5

Kris Willis | Talking Chop: Atlanta prevailed in a back-and-forth Game 4 thanks to an eighth-inning homer from Freddie Freeman. With the Dodgers’ win, Atlanta will await the results of Game 5 on Thursday.

Eric Stephen | True Blue LA: The Dodgers beat the Giants behind Walker Buehler starting on short rest. Anthony DeSclafani couldn’t get out of the second inning, and the Giants had to use all but one of their relievers. Game 5 will be in San Francisco on Thursday.
