The Stuart City Council met Monday. 

The Council approved the National Opioid Litigation Settlement, the new hire payroll change notices for Guthrie County Health Department, and called for a special election for December 7th for Lake Panorama and Diamondhead Rural Improvement Zones.

The Council went into closed session over damage claims against the county, as well as hearing updates on the jail construction project. 

Other items the Council tabled include the American Rescue Plan Project for the shower house at Nations Bridge Park,  Transfer Station Department of Natural Resources requirements for a closure fund and Samuels Group Pay Application for further evaluation.
